SPOT ON

The work in this tab started off as a series of spontaneous whimsical drawings made of sumi ink on discarded paper bags and paper placemats. It later morphed into using the inside covers of old paperback novels, painted with layers of tea, to create shapes that were then collaged onto sumi ink grounds. A logical segue was to experiment with shapes in the printmaking studio. Lastly, some of the images are on the drawing board for potential future sculptures.
